You might be able to 3D print yourself a pizza for dinner very soon – BT.com

Forget bothering to order a Dominos and in fact walking to the door to collect your pizza – 3D printing of your favorite comfort food may be nearer than you ponder. According to Fast Casual, printing pizza may be a reality in the near next.
Executive chef at Ribalta Neapolitan Restaurant Pasquale Cozzolino, and 3D printing company BeeHex, Inc are developing 3-D printed pizzas for the masses. BeeHex is working on printing oven-ready pizzas which can cook in under four minutes, as well as a 3D printing kiosk which can manufacture and bake a pizza each 60 seconds. What a time to be alive.

Just imagine the multitude of situations your printable pizza may assist you overcome! An effortless and delicious dinner when you are pressed for time? Check. The ultimate dinner party conversation piece? Check. An extra slab of doughy goodness to go round when you realise you were much, much hungrier than you idea? Check, check, check.
“We are excited to be working with such an inventive and forward-pondering company,” said Cozzolino. “I am looking forward to via my experience in the culinary industry to turn it into a pizza which can be 3-D printed without sacrificing high end ingredients and taste.”
Whilst the most ingredients to use are yet being hashed out, BeeHex reportedly considered via 80-year-old yeast (sounds delicious). Next on the agenda: 3D printed dips and dough balls, please!
