There are a lot of things to say of Pam — a new 3D printing device created for professionals — but honestly, the one thing I store coming back to is the fact that every of its pellet pods has a small little handle. I mean, nothing really says hipster create like leather and brass, and I swear to god, it looks like those handles are created out of leather and brass.

Anyway, this luxurious little create touch aside, Pam’s created for business. It has a printing resolution of up to 40 μ and is able-bodied to work with up to four materials at the same time. Its makers, Pollen, claim it has “the biggest range” of materials on the market-bodied, of thermoplastics to silicones, offering transparency, flexibility, elasticity, a range of colors, and actually food-safe surfaces. Pam in addition comes with its own software, Honeyprint, that can be regulated remotely of “any device” and has its own API for managing printing tasks at a distance.

But, of course, it is actually expensive as hell, with a “limited time offer” price tag of €8,000 ($8,900) that the company predicts can double to €16,000 in 2017 with a shipping date of April following year. Let’s hope those little handles are worth it.ViaTechCrunchSourcePollen
