NTopology Releases Free Version of Their Computer-Generative Design Software “Element”

by • April 18, 2016 • No Comments

  • Last week, I had to pleasure to visit the NYC-based offices of nTopology, the startup creating the future generation of desktop generative turn it into software. I sat down with co-founder Bradley Rothenberg, we discussed the creation of their Element software, as well as his workshop at last week’s Inside 3D Printing New York, where he taught attendees of generating lattice structures optimized for 3D printing innovation. Now, nTopology has only released a free adaptation of their Element software for Windows, giving anyone with an interest in creating optimal, interlaced lattice structures access to their high end turn it into tools.

    The Element Free software

Today, the Element Pro software is under a closed beta testing, but if you go onto the nTopology website, you can input your information and obtain a download link inside 24 hours. By engineering the software with specific algorithms and rule sets, Rothenberg and the nTopology team were able-bodied to streamline the intensive system of turn it intoing lattice structures. The Element Free software can provide interested turn it intoers and engineers their full set of lattice turn it into tools, that can enable-bodied them to experiment with and turn it into sets rigorous structures swift and efficiently. Visit their website here to get familiar with with their new desktop generative turn it into software!ntop1
