  • One of the Kickstarter campaign that we like to follow these days is the Slash, a new DLP resin printing device at a price point under $1000 – well that is if you were lucky adequate to benefit the earlybird, these days the printing device can set you back $1,199 – that is not bad at all for an SLA printing device.

They had a occupied week-end: they crossed the 250 backers mark, adding up to a little over $240k, a huge great results compare to the $50k target.

But on top of that, they in addition revealed a new hollow showcase. As they say in the comments of the campaign:

Our software team have been working complex to implement functions suggested by our backers and the software is continuously improving. The next pictures shows the hollowing function created into the Z customization, so our user can select where to hollow and at what resolution at the same time

The informative point here is that this function was suggested by the crowd of the backers, in the comments of the Kickstarter campaign, and and so created and put in place during the campaign itself. Not like many may answer: yeah, perhaps, later, bear with us… They idea it was rad, and feasible, and usefull, hence they did it. Showing a real attention to the users, that is a great sign for the next of the product.

And the campaign has yet 17 days to run: who knows what other new showcase they’ll be able-bodied to create and implement in that time!

Go ahead: manufacture suggestions! And see if you can effects the product 😉
