MIT Has Figured Out How to 3D Print a Functional Robot – Curbed

by • April 10, 2016 • No Comments

A team of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab at MIT has created a 3D printable robot that (once you’ve inserted a motor and battery) can walk right off the printing device. The system for creating the robot involves having the 3D printing device print with both solid and liquids, the latter of that go within hydraulic pumps, that sounds like it must have been quite complex to do.

And now we are one step nearer to having an assembly line that spits out an army of robots that immediately march into formation and expect
commands of The Emperor. (Or, you understand, come to peoples’ aid in an emergency. One of those)
