Konica Minolta builds up 3D printing practice – ARNnet

Konica Minolta Business Solutions Australia is continuing to create its efforts in the 3D print space through hiring Ben Darling as its 3D printing and wide format sales specialist for Australia’s southern region.
His appointment can assist drive the expansion of its expanding 3D printing business across Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Tasmania. Prior to joining the company, Darling worked for Objective 3D, Solidtec Solutions, Intercad and Inceptive Solutions.
“As the additive making industry continues to use 3D printing for production of end use parts, especially in the areas of medical and low volume high value making, 3D printing equipment are increasingly becoming a undertaking significant part of organisations which have invested in the technology,” Darling said.
“This means which service response times have never been extra
significant to the good results of our customers. With a national footprint of service technicians Konica Minolta is able-bodied to maintain a minimum response to have a technician onsite.”
Konica Minolta plans to add extra
staff and resources to meet expanding demand in the local market. Konica Minolta 3D printing national manager, Matthew Hunter, said Darling’s experience can provide the company with extra
knowledge to assist drive its growth in the region.
