Creating the Dreamer Regalia Armor: Sketching the Armor Pattern

This is our third post detailing how developer Melissa Ng made the Dreamer Regalia Armor. Read previous posts to learn additional of this project and how she uses Blender for base versioning.

After getting a base version down, it was time to take a step back of the desktop and go back to a few great old-fashioned hand sketching. Even for highly technical, geometric shapes there is a fewthing to be said of creating a create on paper. Melissa spent 25 hours in total doodling and sketching the armor and armor pattern preceding adding it to the base version.
